Buses Edinburgh has a good public transport system which runs from early morning all through the night. Buses only accept the exact fare and if you dont have this you will be unable to travel. Day tickets are available on the buses. There are two main bus providers in Edinburgh Lotian transport and First Bus tickets between the two companies are not interchangeable.
