Hogmanay is the New Year in Scotland. In Edinburgh, Hogmanay has evolved into a Winter Festival that takes place from
29 December - 1st January.

The Main Events are on the 29th Dec: A Torchlight Procession
31 Dec: Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party
31 Dec: Candlelight Concert in St Giles' Cathedral
1 Jan: New Years Day Events in Edinburgh

This year the Concert in the Gardens, will start at the earlier time of 9pm. Paolo Nutini is headlining. More acts will be announced in early November. Tickets not yet on sale

The Glayva Ceilidh in the Gardens is a great way to dance in the New Year in a traditional Scottish way.
