As with older children, the learning process for babies and very young children is very complex. Early learning involves opportunities to play, interact, explore, create and problem solve. At the centre we ensure this is supported by providing :

• Environments that are flexible and responsive, which adapt to children's immediate interests and needs.
• Relationships that encourage children to participate actively.
• Opportunities for children to communicate their feelings and their thoughts, for example through quiet one to one times with an important adult.
• Staff who are interested and attentive.
